International Dental Studies (IDS) Program
International Dental Studies (IDS) are two-year educational programs designed for foreign trained dentists who wish to receive an accredited dental diploma in the United States. Completion of these programs allows foreign trained dentists to participate in licensing examinations in the Untied States. Currently, there are more than 30 accredited IDS programs. Dentists interested in attending these educational trainings also need to think about the financial requirements of these programs. The costs of these programs can reach up to $250,000 for a two-year period (this would include living expenses, tuition and other related educational expenses).
