Course Description and  Objectives:

1. Understand principles of Computed Tomography
2. Understand principles of Cone Beam Computed Tomography
3. Understand the advantages and disadvantages of CT and CBCT
4. Understand the different reconstructed images obtained from CBCT
5. Learn clinical applications of various reconstructed images derived from CBCT
6. Learn clinical applications of CBCT in various clinical areas of dentistry

Guest Speaker:

Dr. Hugo Campos graduated from the Central University of Venezuela School of Dentistry in 1996.
In 2002, he obtained his Certificate in Orthodontics. He went on to receive his Master in Dental
Sciences and a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Connecticut in 2014.
Dr. Campos is currently an Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and
Division Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
