Zoom Meeting: https://zoom.us/j/ 9802748698
Are you frustrated dealin g with hypoplastic first permanent molars or permanent incisors with Turner s Hypoplasia? The treatment of these teeth can be challenging due to the va rying anatomy of the affected surfaces, the extreme hypersensitivity presen t at times and the difficulty to manage these teeth in the young patient. T his condition usually manifests as a portion of missing or diminished ename l, generally affecting one or more permanent teeth in the oral cavity. The ideal restorative treatment modality for these hypoplastic teeth should aim to restore lost and weakened tooth structure, alleviating sensitivity, and maintaining occlusion. The course will explore a mixture of some common an d not so common dental treatment options of these teeth including the use o f glass-ionomer cements, direct and indirect restorations of composite resi n, indirect precious and non-precious alloys, stainless steel crowns, fixed prosthodontics, microabrasion, resin infiltration and the timely extractio ns of severely affected teeth.
