The Hispanic Dental Association Foundation is committed to supporting students through the educational process by awarding grants and scholarships to individuals with strong support from corporate partners and individual donors: This year’s scholarships are given through the generous support of Colgate-Palmolive, Procter & Gamble, A-dec, and HDA members. Applicants should show commitment and dedication in improving and serving the oral health of the Hispanic community.

Hispanic Dental Association Foundation
2020-2021 Scholarship Program
Dental Residency or Specialty Program
Funded by Colgate-Palmolive Company

The intent of this Scholarship Program is to support promising students training in an accredited Dental Residency or Dental Specialty Program, including Dental Public Health, Endodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics, and Prosthodontics. Scholarships of $5,000 will be awarded to support meritorious work by students who seek to advance their scientific and applied clinical knowledge as they continue their journey through the oral health profession and their chosen Dental Residency or Specialty Program.

These scholarships are open to members of the Hispanic Dental Association or Hispanic Student Dental Association who have been accepted or enrolled full-time in an accredited residency program. Students must have an undergraduate or graduate degree in an oral health related field (Dentistry, Dental Hygiene, etc.) from a US school or abroad. Students must attend the virtual HSDA Regional Conference on Saturday September 26, 2020 from 12:00 PM -3:00 PM EST.

Maximum award: $5,000 for Dental Residency students.

and First and Second Year Dental Hygiene Students
Funded by Colgate-Palmolive Company

The intent of this Scholarship Program is to support promising students during their academic training. Scholarships in the amount of $4,000 will be awarded to Dental Students and $2,000 for Dental Hygiene Students. Scholarships will be awarded to students for meritorious work who seek scientific and applied clinical knowledge during their academic journey of their dental professional program.

These scholarships are open to members of the Hispanic Dental Association or the Hispanic Student Dental Association who have been accepted or currently enrolled in an accredited dental or dental hygiene program. Students must attend the virtual HSDA Regional Conference on Saturday September 26, 2020 from 12:00 PM -3:00 PM EST.

Maximum Award: $4,000 for Dental Students, $2,000 for Dental Hygiene.

The intent of this Scholarship Program is to support promising students during their academic training. Scholarships in the amount of $4,000 will be awarded to Dental Students, $2,000 for Dental Hygiene Students, and $1,000 for Dental Assisting and Dental Laboratory students. Scholarships will be awarded to students for meritorious work who seek scientific and applied clinical knowledge during their academic journey of their dental professional program.

These scholarships are open to members of the Hispanic Dental Association or the Hispanic Student Dental Association who have been accepted or currently enrolled in an accredited dental, dental hygiene, dental assisting or dental laboratory program. The intent of this Scholarship Program is to support promising students as they pursue their academic training. Scholarships in the amount of $4,500 for Dental Students will be awarded to support meritorious work by students who seek to advance their scientific and applied clinical knowledge as they continue through and complete their oral health professional program.

These scholarships are open to members of the Hispanic Dental Association or Hispanic Student Dental Association who are enrolled in an accredited dental program. Students must attend the virtual HSDA Regional Conference on Saturday September 26, 2020 from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST. 

Maximum award: $4,500 for 3rd or 4th year Dental Students.
