Lecture Description:

The lecture is intended for dentists interested in taking the first steps toward learning and understanding the practice of dental sleep medicine, as well as those who are looking to increase their knowledge of sleep-related sciences, clinical applications, and practice management. It will help the dentist develop a deeper understanding of sleep, the physiology of sleep, chronobiology (circadian rhythms), breathing and non-breathing related sleep disorders, sleep-related movement disorders, upper airway resistance syndrome, adult and pediatric obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and the health consequences of sleep deficiency. Assist the Dentist to understand the interrelationship between TMD and sleep.
